'Take a Bite' ... A Celebration of Life Fundraising Event

We are celebrating spring, life and the spirit of women living with breast cancer by gathering withour friends and ask you to do the same.  To celebrate, and to support our services, we are inviting you to host a group of friends for a bite to eat and perhaps a drink or two, collect donations and have some fund during the Sweet Louise "Take a Bite' spring season.  If you would like to host an event, please click on the link below for further information:

Voucher System Launch

Sweet Louise Services launch with members:  it has been so tempting to launch with members early. We are convinced that spending the time on getting the fundamentals right has been the right approach.  We are now ready to cope with lots of demand from members - and from the launch on 30 October we are accepting registrations from eligible patients.

Our Arty Party Launch

The official launch of the Foundation was celebrated by hosting ‘the best party in town' on Friday, 19 August 2005. The launch was a tremendous success.  It exceeded the expectations of all those involved in the event - from the perspectives of fund raising, generating positive media profile, the attribution accorded to our key sponsors and the way in which everyone at the event embraced Sweet Louise. We have since focused on making Sweet Louise a reality for breast cancer patients in New Zealand, with the launch for Auckland metastatic breast cancer patients at the end of October 2006

Art Auction with a difference

The Foundation's first major fund raising initiative was an unprecedented art auction, synchronised on-line and on site at the launch party.  Some 50 works were for sale and featured works from : Stephen Bambury, Jim Casebere, Dick Frizzell, Gavin Hurley, Callum Innes, Judy Millar, Michael Parekowhai, Jude Ray, Ann Robinson, Emily Siddell, Jim Speers, Peter Stichbury,  Yvonne Todd and many more.
